activities at anders mountain suites

Trails start at the front door. The Plose hiking network connects to alpine huts across the mountain, with routes for every season. Mountain biking and the Plose bike park run through summer. Tandem paragliding launches from the slopes above.

Winter brings 43 km of ski runs, from gentle to steep. Ski-in/ski-out access means no shuttles, no transfers. The valley run is the longest in South Tyrol. Mountain carts add a faster way down in warmer months. Year-round, guests leave on foot, by bike, or on skis directly from the property.

Gastronomy

The host stands in the kitchen each evening. He cooks traditional alpine dishes fused with Mediterranean flair, homemade dough and meat from farms he visits personally. Regional, seasonal, local. The communal Nochtmohl, the family meal, comes included with every stay.

Breakfast arrives as a basket to the room or as a buffet in the lounge. Cooking baskets with prepared ingredients are available on request for guests who want to cook in their own kitchens. A la carte dining runs separately. The wine cellar behind the dancing facade stocks South Tyrolean and Italian bottles. External guests are welcome at the table too.

Wellness

Each apartment has its own bio sauna on the lower floor. The ground-level rain shower opens beside it. No shared spa, no queue, no schedule. The setup keeps things private and unhurried, matching the property's slower pace on the Plose.

Sustainability at Anders Mountain Suites

Anders Mountain Suites operates with a small footprint by design. A handful of apartments, one host cooking from regional farms, and a philosophy built around slowing down rather than scaling up.

Ingredients travel short distances from producers the host knows personally. The property's presence on platforms like Off Grid Hideaways and Slow Down Hotels reflects an approach that values restraint over expansion. Cooking baskets reduce food waste by letting guests prepare only what they need.
