It is not a hotel. Nor is it a resort. HABITAT Lago Maggiore is six standalone dwellings of wood and glass, set between Lake Maggiore and the forest in the hamlet of Piazzogna. Each dwelling carries the name of a chakra, from #0 The Base to #7 The Crown. Private hot tubs face the lake. The self-service shop stocks local honey, craft products, and regional foods around the clock.
Founder Elia Frapolli grew up here on the Gambarogno Riviera. He built HABITAT to champion this quiet corner of Canton Ticino, not to exploit it.
