Hôtel Koh-I Nor stands at 2,300 metres, crowning Val Thorens with an uninterrupted panorama over the resort's snowy cirque. Its name means Mountain of Light in Persian, after the 105.6-carat diamond in the British Crown Jewels. The architecture follows that idea. Interiors are bathed in light thanks to cleverly angled glass and open sightlines toward les 3 Vallées.
Part of Les Etincelles Collection, the hotel brings a sweet harmony of luxury, gastronomy, and relaxation to high altitude. Four dining venues span fine dining to wine cellar suppers. An 800m² Spa Gemology uses diamond, tourmaline, and jade in its treatments. Guests choose between hotel rooms, a residence, or private chalets, all with ski-in access.
