The 1,200 m2 Cocoon Spa centres on an Onsen Pool heated to 38-40 degrees, its surface steaming against alpine air. No children. No rush. Just mountain quiet and warm water.
Hosts Susanne and Thomas run the hotel with a 35-person team they call the Hollwart People. Their philosophy is family culture paired with a private atmosphere amidst the mountain world. Twenty guided activities fill each week, from summit hikes to soundbath sessions. The Soha Summer Card comes included for direct bookers. Ski-in, ski-out access connects directly to the Snow Space Salzburg gondola station in winter. In summer, the Wanderbus Herbie runs four times a week to trailheads across the Pongau region.
